What is RSS?
RSS ("Rich Site Summary" or "Really Simple Syndication") is a format for delivering frequently updated material such as news headlines. Many news providers now publish their headlines in RSS format, which allows you to select feeds based upon the content you like and have the resulting headlines delivered to your desktop. To use RSS, you will need a RSS 'news-reader' program. There are many news-readers available, some of which are downloadable applications, some of which work within a browser (such as 'My Yahoo!').
Fitch's RSS Service - Headlines straight to your RSS Reader!
Fitch is now offering all of its press releases in RSS format. Simply choose the feeds you are interested in by clicking the orange "XML" buttons and then paste the URL into your news reader. The RSS news-reader will periodically poll Fitch Ratings for new headlines, display them as a list and allow you to open the entire press release, which also contains links to related research.
